HomeMy Public PortalAbout1997/07/17 A Special Meeting of the Mayor and Council of the Borough ofCarteret was held on Friday, July 17, 1997, 6:00 P.M., Borough Hall, 61 Cooke Avenue, Carteret, New Jersey. Upon individual roll call, the following were noted present: Mayor Peter J. Sica Councilmember Bialowarczuk " DuPont " Failace " Fazekas " Feingold " Gutowski Also noted present Borough Attorney Craig Coughlin, Attorney F. Leanza and Frank Raia. Mailed to The Home News & Tribune, The Star Ledger and posted on the bulletin board on July 14, 1997. To discuss RCA agreements and any other business that may come up before the Council and to adopt a resolution to go into closed session to discuss contract negotiations. Formal action may be taken. RESOLUTION #97-222(A) was introduced by the Mayor and was referred to the Council for action Upon MMS&C, by Councilmembers Feingold and Fazekas RESOLUTION #97 -102 "RESOLUTION TO GO INTO CLOSED SESSION" was adopted. Upon individual roll call vote, Councilmembers Bialowarczuk, DuPont, Failace, Fazekas, Feingold and Gutowski voted in the affirmative. At approximately 6:25 P.M., the meeting adjourned into Closed Session. Upon MMS&C, by Councilmembers Gutowski and DuPont and unanimous affirmative vote of the full membership present, the meeting was opened to the public at approximately 7:25 P.M. 1.
