A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD

PROMOTION FUNDS
WHEREAS, due to conducting various city activities,
functions and operations throughout the year, Community
Promotion funds have been depleted and must be adjusted; and
WHEREAS, due to staff under estimating activity
~ expenditures for FY 89/90, the need for additional funds to
meet the demand in forthcoming community activities is
necessary in order to maintain the same level of programs
which are of significance to the community; and
WfiEREAS, it is important to this City to maintain
continuity in presenting and promoting activities and events
which involve the citizens of the community.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
Lynwood does hereby resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Council authorize the
appropriation of unapprorpiated general funds in the amount
of $15,000 to community promotions funds to balance its
operations; and
Section 2. That the City Manager or his designee is
authorized to make the following additional appropriations

Section 3. This resolution shall go into effect
immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of
the City of Lynwood held on the 3rd day of p,pril 1990.
