A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
APPROVING THE TRANSFER OF ELEVEN THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED FZFTY
DOLLARS ($11,850) FROM UNAPPROPRIATED GENERAL FUNDS TO
ECREATSON AND PARKS FUNDS
WfiEREAS, it is necessary to repaint the exterior of the
Community Center while plans for a new or rehabilitated facility
are finalized; and
WHEREAS, staff has obatained a low bid in the amount of
eleven thousand eight hundred fifty dollars ($11,850) for the
required exterior painting; and
WHEREAS, there are not sufficient funds in present
Recreation and Parks accounts with which to perform the required
painting; and
WHEREAS, it is important that the City maintain the Community
Center in a serviceable condition while plans for its
refurbishment or replacement are finalized;
NOW, Therefore, be it resolved that the City Council of
the City of Lynwood does hereby resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Council suthorizes the
transfer of unappropriated General Funds in the amount of eleven
thousand eight hundred fifty dollars ($11,850) to the Department
of Recreation and Parks for the painting of the exterior of the
~ Community Center; and
Section 2. That the City Manager or his designee is
authorized to make the following appropriations.

Section 3. That this Resolution shall go into effect
immediately upon its adoption.
