~ RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE C7'PI
AliTHORI"LING THE PURCHASE THROUGH AN INFORMAL,
BID OF ONE (1) COMPACT SEDAN.

WHEREAS, the City Council desires to provi.de the
necessarv equipment, to continue pro~-iding a safe and efficient
City maintenance operation; and
WHEREAS, the acquisition can be more economically
effected if done through an iriformal bid; and
WHEREAS, under Section 2-62 (c) of the Lynwood
Municipal C;ode, Council can authorize purchases through informal
bids by a k/5 vote; and
WHERE.~S, $10,000.00 of Section 108 Loan Repayment
Fund (28-66) will be transferred to t}ie .4ut.omotive Equipment.

~OW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, proclaim, order and resolce as folloc.~s:
Section 1. The City Council hereby finds and
determines that the acquisition of a compact. sedan can be
more efficientl,y and economically effected an infocmal hid
procedure, in that. a bett.er price for tk~e equipment. cotzld be
obtained from that of a formal bid.
Sectiori 2. The City Manager or his designee is
authorized to mal:e the following transfers and appropriat.ions:
