A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD APPROVING THE TRANSFER OF FIFTEEN THOUSAND
FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($15,500.00) FROM UNAPPROPRIATED
GENERAL FUNDS TO RECREATION AND PARKS TRAVEL ACCOUNT

WHEREAS, the Recreation and Parks Department provides a variety
of excursions; and
WHEREAS, Proposition A funds are available to meet transportation
costs of these excursions; and
WHEREAS, Funds from the travel accounts were inadvertently deleted
during the mid-year review; and
WHEREAS, it is important that the city continue to offer these
excursions; and
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved that the City Council of the City of
Lynwood does hereby resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Council authorize the transfer of
Unappropriated General Funds in the amount of fifteen thousand five
hundred dollars ($15,500.00) to the Department of Recreation and Parks
for Travel Prop A Account 01-4775-4256
Section 2. That the City Manager or his designee is authorized
to make the following appropriation:
FROM TO AMOUNT
General Fund Balance 01-4775-4256 $15,500.00
(Unappropriated Funds)
Section 3. That this resolution shall go into effect immediately
upon its adoption.
