A regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Ault
was called to order by Mayor Anderson at 8:00 P. M. of the above date.
Upon roll call the following members were found present :-
Hasbrouck, Ehn, Duncan, Peterson , McIntyre, and Newman. absent none.
The minutes of the two previous meeting were read . and approved
as read.
The following applications forthe position of Town Clerk were
read :- F. E. Starkey, Jerome,Mclntyre, H. B. Smith, Paul S. McLain,
D. B. Venable and Chet Lacy after which they were tabled to be acted
on later in the meeting. audit incr
Mr. McIntyre , Chairman of the Ewa= eommitt a reported that
the books of the Town Clerk and Police Magistrate had been audited
to Jan. 1, 1929 and had been found correct and had been signed by
the Auditing Committee. Mr . McIntyre presented a list to the
Board of the Outstanding Bonds of the Town and asked that they be
inscribed on the minutes of the Town of Ault. The following being
the list of outst F nding Bonded indebtedness of the Town of ault at
the present time.
Water Works Extension Bonds ---- 8,000.07
The above bonds are 5i R Payable in 15 years , dated Oct.1,1918 due
Oct.l, 1933. Interest payable semi-annualy ifter.1, and Oct. 1.
The OriT,inal issue was for 1,20,000 and a Sinking Fund was set aside
to take care of these bonds and at the present time it has been
possible to buy 12, 00.00 of these bonds.
Water Works Refunding Bonds 13,00000
Original amount 24,000.0(' dated Jan 1, 1917 numbered 1 to 48
Payable '1,0 0 each year an. 1. Interest payable at Jan .1 and
July 1 each year.
Park Bonds
5,000.0f
Original amount of these bonds t 5,0f00.0C dated May 1, 1920 due
May 1, 1935. Interest - 5 due May 1 and Nov. 1 each year.
Total amount Outstnding Bonds --t 26, 000.00
Moved by Hasbrouck second by Peterson that the Report of the
Auditing Committee be accepted . Upon roll call all present voted
Aye.
The Bill were read by the Finance Committee and approved by
same.

Moved by Hasbrouck second by Duncan that the Bills be allowed and
Warrants drawn upon the Trea. for the same. Upon roll call all present
voted Aye.
Moved by Newnan second. by McIntyre that in the future when taps
were made to the Main that the pipe be laid from Tap ty §top box
at least 5 ft. below the surface of the Gutter in the Street. Upon
roll call all present voted Aye.
A ballott was taken on applications for Town Clerk which resulted
in 4 votes for H. B. Smith and 2 votes for Jero e McIntyre. H. B. Smith
was declared elected, to serve at the will and pleasure of the Board.
Moved by Duncan second By Newman that O. C. McWilliams be appointed
Police Magistrate. Upon roll_ call all present voted Aye.
Moved by De -- l. an second By Duncan that salary of new clerk for the
first month be $100.00 and if be proved satisfactory to be t1215.00
from then on . Upon roll call all_ present voted Aye.
Moved by Ehn second by Hasbrouck that the Board ad j ourn subject to
the call of the Mayor. All present voted Ay,
