ARESOLUTION TO REJECT ALL BIDS FOR THE 2019 INTERSTATE 380 BOX
CULVERT AND GRADING PROJECT
Whereas,the City Council of the City of Tiffin received bids on March 28, 2019,for the
2019 Interstate 380 Box Culvert and Grading Project;and,
Whereas, the review of the bids from the Iowa Department of Transportation has
exceeded the timeframe for acceptance of the bids; and,
Whereas, the City Council wishes to rejects all bids and reset the bid and award dates.
Now, therefore be it resolvedby theCity Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa,to
authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to reject the bids for the 2019 Interstate 380 Box
Culvert and Grading Project.

On the 16day of April, 2019, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa,
Councilperson Ryan introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2019-050,ARESOLUTION TO
REJECT ALL BIDS FOR THE 2019 INTERSTATE 380 BOX CULVERT AND
GRADING PROJECT and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by
Councilperson Schnedler.
Ayes: Upton, Havens, Ryan, Schnedler, Bartels
Nays: None
Absent:None
Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared thatRESOLUTION NO. 2019-050, A RESOLUTION TO REJECT ALL BIDS
FOR THE 2019 INTERSTATE 380 BOX CULVERT AND GRADING PROJECT tobe
adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixinghis signature thereto.
