A RBSOLUTION OF THB CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING TH8 SALS OF WATBR AND
APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR WSLL RBPAIR3, TSLSMSTRY
UPGRADING AND MODIFICATION AND VALVE UPGRADING AND
REPAIRS.
' WHBRBAS, the City of Lynwood will not use 600 acre-feet
of water of its allowed pumping allotment; and
WHERSAS, the City of Lynwood can lease out the unused
water at ;92.00 per acre-foot, therebp being compensated
$55,200.00; and
WHER&AS, the $55,200.00 can be uaed to finance various
small water system improvement projects; and
WHBRBAS, the various small water syatem projects, such
as Well Repairs, Telemetry upgrading and modification, and Valve
upgrading and repaira can be more economically effected if done
through informal bids; and
WHBRBAS, under Section 2-62(c) of the Lynwood Municipal
Code, Council can suthorize purchases through informal bids by a
4/5 vote.
NOW, TNBRBFORB, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Council suthorize the Water
Division staff to lease out 600 acre-feet of water at ;92.00 an
' acre-foot to the San Gabriel Valley Water Company.
Section 2. That the City Manager or his designee is
suthorized to make the following fund appropriations:

Section 3. This resolution ahall go into effect imme-
diately upon its adoption.
