SUBJECT: PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION ACTIONS -MEETING OF
DECEMBER 17, 2014
RECOMMENDATION:
The City Council is requested to receive and file the Parks and Recreation Commission
actions from their meeting of December 17, 2014.
BACKGROUND:
On December 17, 2014, the Parks and Recreation Commission held their regularly
scheduled meeting.
ANALYSIS:
Following is a summary of actions taken at the December 17, 2014 Parks and
Recreation Commission meeting:
1. ROLL CALL:
Present: Commissioner-Fish, Lopez, Vice-Chairman Rosso
Absent: Commissioner -None
Excused: Commissioner-Chairman Haddad, Commissioner Georgina
2. CONSENT CALENDAR
The Parks and Recreation Commission approved the minutes from their Regular
Meeting of November 19, 2014 and received and filed the monthly report for
November 2014.

3. NEW BUSINESS
A. REQUEST FROM TEMPLE CITY AMERICAN LITTLE LEAGUE FOR
AUTHORIZATION TO HANG SPONSOR BANNERS AT LIVE OAK PARK
FOR THEIR 2015 SEASON
The Commission approved the request.
B . REQUEST FROM GREAT ENLIGHTENMENT LOTUS SOCIETY FOR
RESERVED USE OF THE PERFORMING ARTS PAVILION AND GRASS
AREA AT TEMPLE CITY PARK FOR A CHINESE NEW YEAR FESTIVAL
ON SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 28, 2015
The Commission approved the request.
4. MATTERS FROM CITY OFFICIALS
A. The Commission received and filed the Parks and Recreation Director's
Report for December 2014.
CONCLUSION:
The City Council is requested to receive and file this report.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This item does not have an impact on the Fiscal Year (FY) 2014-15 City Budget.
