' A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
11PPROVING THE 1-PPROPRZATION OF FUNDS TO COVER COSTS FOR
1-DOLPH'S CATERING SERVICES 1-ND CITY ATPORNEY LEGAL SERVICES
WHEREAS, Adolph's Catering Services currently has a
contract with the City to provide caterinq services; and
WHEREAS, 1-dolph's Caterinq pays a percentaqe of its
qross sales to the City to offset catering costs; and
WHEREAS, due to requests for additional catering
4ervices for special events, the City has exceeded the
current year's appropriation; and
WHEREAS, an amount of =5,000 is needed to cover monies
due for payment ending FY 89-90; and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney hns a contzact with the City
to provide leqal services; and
wHEREAS, its current year's budqet of =95,000 is
insufficient to cover all costs due for payment endinq E'Y
89-90; and
, Wf~REAS, an additional appropriation.of ;20,000 is
aeeded to cover leqal fees for May and June; and
wfiEREAS, the City will be receivinq from the Lyawood
Redevelopment l,gency, a partial t758,000 on an outstandinq
loan; and
wHEREAS, these monies will be recorded as General Fund
revenue and can be used for above-mentioned additional
appropriationst and
NOW, TFIEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that City Council of the
City of Lynwood hereby resolve as follows:
Section l. That the City Council authorise that the
received payment monies be recorded as General Fund revenue;
and
' Section 2. That the City Manager or his designee is
authorized to make the necessary appropriations to above-
mentioned accounts.
Section 3. This resolution shall go into effect
immediately upon its adoption.
