ANALYSIS:
The appointee to the Planning Commission will fill the un-expiring term of office ending
June 30 , 2016 . Resolution of appointment is presented for City Council's consideration
and adoption . If appointed , the appointee will receive the Oath of Office at the City
Council Meeting of February 17, 2015. Appointment of the new comm iss ioner in
February will ensure that the commission will be able to continue with bus iness as
usual.
CONCLUSION:
The City Council is requested to adopt proposed Resolution No . 15-5063 appointing
Serge Haddad to the Planning Commission with a term of office ending June 30 , 2016 .
FISCAL IMPACT:
This item does not have an impact on the Fiscal Year (FY) 2013-14 City Budget.
