A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TEMPLE CITY ADOPTING THE CITY BUDGET AND APPRO-
PRIATING REVENUE OF THE CITY FOR THE FISCAL
YEAR 1983 -84
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 2207 of the Temple City Municipal
Code, the City Manager has prepared and submitted to the City Council a
proposed budget for the 1983 -84 fiscal year, starting July 1, 1983, and
I WHEREAS, the City Council, as the legislative body of the City has
eviewed and modified this proposed budget, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is necessary for the
efficient management of the City that certain sums of revenue of the City
be appropriated to the various departments, offices, agencies and activi-
ties of the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Temple City does
resolve, determine and order as follows:
SECTION 1. The following sums of money are hereby transferred from
the General Fund of the City of Temple City to establish a separate
Contingency Fund. The monies to be placed in the Contingency Fund are as
follows: Parking Lot Lease in the amount of $310,000.00 and Self Insurance
Reserve in the amount of $100,000.00. All interest earned on such monies
shall be designated to the General Fund.
SECTION 2. The sum of $77,969.00 is hereby transferred from the
General Fund of the City of Temple City to establish a separate Fund to
be designated as the Equipment Replacement Fund. All interest earned on
such monies shall be designated to the General Fund.
SECTION 3. A certain document on file in the Office of the City
Clerk of the City of Temple City being marked and designated "Adopted
IFudget, 1983 -84 Fiscal Year ", said document as prepared by the City
anager, amended by the City Council, and consisting of three copies, is
ereby adopted for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1983.
SECTION 4. The following sums of money are hereby appropriated from
the revenue of the City of Temple City to the following named departments,
offices, agencies, and activities of the City for expenditure during the
1983 -84 fiscal year.
