3. NEW BUSINESS
A. REVIEW OF TRANSPORTATION SERVICES AVAILABLE TO TEMPLE
CITY RESIDENTS
The Commission received information on the various public transportation
programs and services and heard from residents regarding the City's Dial-A-
Ride program. The Commission recommended the Minute Clinic at the CVS
Pharmacy, located 1401 South Baldwin Avenue in the City of Arcadia, be
added as an approved location. The Commission tabled further discussion
on adult day-care facilities and weekend hours to a future meeting directing
staff and Commissioners Haddad and Rosso to meet with Southland Transit,
Inc. to discuss concerns from residents and develop further
recommendations.
B. REQUEST FROM TEMPLE CITY UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR
RESERVED USE OF TEMPLE CITY PARK FOR A HEALTH FAIR ON MAY
2,2015
The Commission approved the request.
4. MATTERS FROM CITY OFFICIALS
A. The Commission received and filed the Parks and Recreation Director's
Report for February 2015.
CONCLUSION:
The City Council is requested to receive and file this report.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This item does not have an impact on the Fiscal Year (FY) 2014-15 City Budget.
