A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD APPROVING THE SELECTION OF RICHARD
C. SLADE AND ASSOCIATES TO PERFORM A WELL SITE
INVESTIGATION STUDY FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF
WELL NO. 20
WHEREAS, on July 6, 1993, City Council adopted
Resolution 93-81 authorizing staff to send out a Request for
Proposals to consulting firms for a well site investigation study
for the replacement of Well No. 20; and
WHEREAS, six proposals were received from engineering
consulting firms; and
WHEREAS, staff has reviewed the submitted proposals and
ranked the proposals; and
WHEREAS, the firm of Richard C. Slade and Associates
possesses the highest level of demonstrated competence and
professional qualifications necessary for the satisfactory
performance of the services required; and
WHEREAS, staff has negotiated with the consultant and
has agreed on a fee of $9,330.00 to perform the study; and
WHEREAS, the cost of this study will be assumed by the
California Department of Transportation.
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, proclaim, order, and resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. That the City Council approve the
(~' selection of Richard C. Slade and Associates to perform the well
4[ site investigation study, for a fee of $9,330.00.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to
execute the agreement between the City of Lynwood and Richard C.
Slade and Associates.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall go into effect
immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED THIS 16th day of
