A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF LYN'WOOD APPROPRIATING
$3,000 TO IMPLEMENT THE CITY OF LYNWOOD'S
WORK TRIP REDUCTION PLAN TO COMPLY WITH
AIR QUALITY MANAGEMENT DISTRICT'S RULE 1501

WHEREAS, South Coast Air Quality Management District
established Rule 1501, also known as Regulation XV, requiring
employers of 100 or more employees to implement work trip reduction
plans designed to attain average vehicle ridership (AVR) targets;
and
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood as an employer is required to
comply with Rule 1501, and
WHEREAS, according to the City's current work trip reduction
plan, the following incentives would be offered to its employees:
Subsidy Program Mode, Giveaway Program, Compressed Work Week,
Guaranteed Ride Home, and Ride Matching, and
WHEREAS, an appropriation is needed to implement the above
incentives for Fiscal Year 1993-1994.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION l: That the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby appropriate $3,000 for the implementation of the City's
work trip reduction plan.
