A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD AWARDING A CONTRACT TO FECIT STRATA INC.
IN THE AMOUNT OF $ 292,938.50 FOR THE SIDEWALK
RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT - PHASE I, PROJECT
N0. 5-5152, FY 1993-94
WHEREAS, the Sidewalk Reconstruction Project - Phase I,
Project No. 5-5152, is listed in the Capital Improvement Project
list for FY 1993-94 budget; and
WHEREAS, the bid opening was held on November 23, 1993
and Fecit Strata Inc. was the apparent lowest bidder at
$ 292,938.50; and
WHEREAS, a reference check has revealed that the
Contractor has the necessary experience to perform this type of
work.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the contract for the Sidewalk
Reconstruction Project - Phase I, Project No. 5-5152, be awarded
to Fecit Strata Inc. for their low bid of $ 292,938.50.
Section 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to
execute the agreement between the City of Lynwood and Fecit
Strata.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect
immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 7th day of
December 1993.
