In addition, if anyone else intends to either video or audio tape this meeting they are required to inform the chair."We request that all cellphones be turned off or to vibrate. I i i 1. Vote to approve minutes of December 14, 2016 meeting. i E Motion made by Roland Bassett to approve the meeting minutes of December 14, 2016 as presented. William Klein seconded. VOTE. 4-0-2 I i 3 2. Presentation and discussion with Irene Larivee, Finance Director, about CPC financial j procedures, account balances, and revenue projections. j Due to illness the Finance Director is unable to attend so agenda item 2 and 3 were postponed to a future meeting. i 3. Discussion and potential vote on revenue assumptions for FY 2018 and discussion of drafting Annual Town Meeting warrant article. i CPC Meeting Minutes of i January 11, 2017 Page 1 of 3 4. Acceptance of$600,000 community housing funding request from Preservation of Affordable Housing and Housing Assistance Corporation for the 30 unit family rental development and vote to refer request to the Housing Sub-Committee for its review and recommendation. Motion made by Peter Johnson to accept the$6€10,000 community housing funding request from Preservation of Affordable Housing and Housing Assistance Corporation for the 30-unit family rental development and to refer the request to the Housing Sub-Committee for its review and recommendation. Roland Bassett seconded. VOTE: 6-0-0 i 15. Report on status of housing consultant and of possible housing coordinator - i Elizabeth Taylor gave a report on the status of the housing consultant and possible part-time housing coordinator. The Town Administrator has signed the contract with Wendy Cohen as the selected housing consultant. Wendy has 20 years experience with affordable housing development j including 6 years recently at DHCD for the low-income housing tax credit program. She is qualified to advise the CPC on the two housing requests the CPC has received. i The Town Planner has been brought up to speed on the affordable housing projects and will replace Jillian Douglas as staff for the Housing Partnership. He has interest in affordable housing issues. It has been determined there is a need for a part-time housing coordinator to assist with the implementation of the new housing plan along with affordable housing duties. The Town Administrator is fully supportive and will bring the idea to the Board of Selectmen. Funding would come from CPC and regular town funds. Paul Ruchinskas will draft a job description for the position and hopes to get it completed next week. I i 16. Review and discussion of draft CPC 2016 Annual Report. Elizabeth Taylor briefly reviewed the draft CPC 2016 Annual Report. Any comments, changes and/or corrections should be sent to Elizabeth. A vote will be taken to approve at the next meeting. 1 i 7. Items that the Chair could not have reasonably anticipated. 1 There were no other items discussed. 1 i 8. Schedule next meeting.
