AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY
OF TIFFIN, IOWA, FOR CERTAIN PROPERTY KNOWN AS WOODFIELD
RIDGE, TIFFIN, JOHNSON COUNTY, IOWA, AND AS LEGALLY
DESCRIBED HEREIN
BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIFFIN, IOWA:
Section 1. Purpose. The purpose of this ordinance is to amend the
official zoning map of the City of Tiffin, Iowa, concerning property locally
described Woodfield Ridge, Tiffin, Johnson County, Iowa.
Section 2. Amendment. The following legally described
property:
PART.OF THE NORTH HALF OF THE NE 1/4 OF SECTION 28 AND THE SE 1/4.OF THE SE

shall be changed from zoning classification from R1-E (formerly known
as A-1) to R-4, Multi-family, 4-Plex Residential District and further,
that the official zoning map of the City be amended to reflect the change
described herein.
Section 5. Repealer. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 6. Severability. If any section, provision, or part of this
ordinance shall be adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such
adjudication shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole, or
any section, provision, or part thereof not adjudged invalid or
unconstitutional.
Section 7. Effective Date. This ordinance shall be in effect after
its final passage, approval, and posting as provided by law.
On the 8th day of March 2006, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin
City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Wright introduced Ordinance
No. 2006-276, and moved that it be given its first reading. The `motion
was seconded by Councilperson Dils.
• Ayes: Petersen, Bartels, Dils, DeMuth and Wright.
Nays: None.
Five members of the Council being present and having voted "Aye",
Mayor Glenn R. Potter declared the motion carried, and Ordinance No.
2006-276, was read the first time and discussed and placed on record.
Thereupon, Councilperson Wright moved that Ordinance No. 2006-
276 be given.a second and a third reading, by title only, and further that
the laws and rules providing that an ordinance be read a second and
third time on two different dates be waived. The motion was seconded
by Councilperson Di 1 s •
Ayes: Petersen, Bartels, Wright, DeMuth and Dils.
Nayes: None.
Five members of the Council being present and having voted "Aye",
Mayor Glenn R. Potter declared the motion carried, and Ordinance No.
2006-276, was read the second time by title only and discussed and
placed on record.
Thereupon, Councilperson Petersen moved that Ordinance No.
`2006-276 be given it be given its third and last reading by title only,
and be placed upon its final passage and be adopted. The motion was
seconded by Councilperson Dils.
Ayes: Bartels, Petersen, Wright, Dils, and Demuth

Five members of the Council being present and having voted "Aye",
Mayor Glenn R. Potter declared the motion carried, and Ordinance No.
2006-206, was read the third time by title only and was passed and
adopted.
Passed by the council on the 8th day of March 2006 and approved
by-the Mayor on the 8th day of March 2006.
