RESOLUTION APPROVING A PROPOSAL FROM VISU-SEWER
FOR SANITARY SEWER CLEANING & CCTV INSPECTION
WHEREAS, the City of Riverdale, Iowa ("City") is a municipal corporation, organized and operating under
the laws of the State of Iowa; and,
WHEREAS, the City requires its sanitary sewers to be cleaned and televised as part of the Sanitary Sewer
Phase III project; and,
WHEREAS, Visu-Sewer has submitted a proposal to televise and clean the City's sanitary sewers in the
total amount of $25,200;
WHEREAS, MSA Professional Services requests the storm sewer at Elmhurst Lane also be televised and
therefore recommends a maximum expenditure of $28,000 for this work; and,
WHEREAS, the funding sources for this action are:
$26,500 #610-815-6499 Sewer Contractual Services
$ 1,500 #001-298-6399 Storm Sewer Contractual Services
$28,000 Total
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Riverdale, Iowa, that:
Section 1: The Mayor is authorized to execute the proposal with Visu-Sewer for a total expense not
to exceed $28,000.
Section 2: Visu-Sewer is authorized to complete Sanitary Sewer Phase Ill cleaning and telescoping up
to a total expense of $28,000.
