AV Symington Aquatic Center Will Close at 7:30pm Beginning
on Wednesday, August 12, 2015
Outdoor pool open daily through August 30th and over Labor Day weekend
Leesburg, VA (August 11, 2015) – Due to earlier sunset times, beginning on Wednesday, August
12, 2015, the AV Symington Aquatic Center (AVSAC) at Ida Lee Park will close at 7:30pm.
The AV Symington Aquatic Center will be open daily through Sunday, August 30 th. AVSAC will be
closed August 31st through September 3rd, but will reopen for the Labor Day weekend before
closing for the season. Over the Labor Day weekend, AVSAC will be open to the general public
during the following hours:
Friday, September 4th: 4:00pm – 7:30pm
Saturday, September 5th: 12:00pm – 7:30pm
Sunday, September 6th: 12:00pm – 7:30pm
Monday, September 7th: 12:00pm – 7:30pm
Leesburg residents are admitted at 11:00am, one hour before AVSAC opens to the general
