RESOLUTION Na. 83 -2213
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY, CALIFORNIA
NOTIFYING THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
OF CITY COUNCIL'S INTENTION TO RETAIN
LOS ANGELES COUNTY SHERIFF SERVICES
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Temple City engages.
the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department as its general law en-
forcement agency; and
WHEREAS, the contract for such service is renewable in five
year increments; and
WHEREAS, the current contract, entered into May 11, 1980,
required the City to notify the Board of Supervisors of its in-
tent prior to December 31 of the year preceding expiration of
said contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City Council of the
City of Temple City wishes to renew its contract with the County
of Los Angeles, to provide law enforcement services to the City
through the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
APPROVED and ADOPTED this 6th day of December, 1983.
