RESOLUTION 2023-048
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE COMMUNITY ROOM
AUDIO/VISUAL PROJECT TO PROCEED
WHEREAS, the City of Riverdale, Iowa ("City") is a municipal corporation, organized and operating under
the laws of the State of Iowa; and,
WHEREAS, on March 28, 2023, in Resolution #2023-024, Council approved a FY24-FY28 Capital
Improvements Plan that included the community room audio/visual project in FY24 with a budget of
$2,000; and,
WHEREAS, the city hall parking lots reconstruction project begins on July 12, 2023, and staff believes
that the best time to complete the community room audio/visual project is during the parking lot
reconstruction when city hall will have less traffic than usual; and,
WHEREAS, the funding source for the project is #301-210-6499 Capital Improvement Contract
Services.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIVERDALE, IOWA,
THAT:
SECTION 1: The Community Room Audio Visual project is hereby authorized to proceed in FY24 at a
total expense not to exceed $2,000.
