RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY HALL OFFICE
REMODEL PROJECT TO PROCEED
WHEREAS, the City of Riverdale, Iowa ("City") is a municipal corporation, organized and operating under
the laws of the State of Iowa; and,
WHEREAS, on March 28, 2023, in Resolution #2023-024, Council approved a FY24-FY28 Capital
Improvements Plan that included the city hall office remodel project in FY24 with a budget of $10,000;
and,
WHEREAS, the city hall parking lots reconstruction project begins on July 12, 2023, and staff believes
that the best time to complete the city hall office remodel project is during the parking lot reconstruction
when city hall will have less traffic than usual; and,
WHEREAS, the funding source for the project is #301-210-6499 Capital Improvement Contract
Services.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIVERDALE, IOWA,
THAT:
SECTION 1: The City Hall Office Remodel project is hereby authorized to proceed in FY24 at a total
expense not to exceed $10,000.
