Present;Cynthia Bingham,Vanessa Greene, Diane Pansire,Sarah Robinson,Steve Seaver, Kristin and
Brandon,Allian Douglass
1. Ryan Bennett was sick and her agenda items were postponed until a future meeting.
2. The Housing Coordinator position is not posted yet
1 The Housing Production Plan was due in December but has not been completed yet.
4. Brandon and Kristin are community members who are passionate about increasing affordable
housing in Brewster,They presented their Ideas for increasing community dialogue,getting i
fresh ideas, and overcoming obstacles.They are exploring a wide range of ideas,and hope to
start a housing options discussion group,We went around and each member of BHP gave a one
or two minute feedback on steps Brandon and Kristin could take to enhance their efforts. No
specific action was taken by BHP,but we are supportive of their perspectives and efforts,and
welcome them back in the future.
5. Steve Seaver did a comprehensive presentation on Affordable Accessory Dwelling Units
(AADUs). He discussed Chapter 179 Zoning By-Laws and Section 42.1 Affordable Housing By-
laws. The presentation was followed by a discussion and decision to continue exploring the
topic in the coming months.
6. Decided not to field a bowling team for the Habitat for Humanity fundraiser in Yarmouth,
7. Approved minutes from 1/18/17 by a vote of 5-0-0
