AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP ORDINANCE 2007-287 OF THE
CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA BY AMENDING THE WOODFIELD RIDGE PAD PART ONE OUTLOT
TWO TO NOW INCLUDE PART TWO LOT FIVE
BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIFFIN, IOWA:
Section 1. Purpose. The purpose of this amendment to Zoning Ordinance No 2007-287
to amend the official zoning map of Tiffin, Iowa concerning the following legally
described property located within Tiffin, Johnson County, Iowa.
Section 2. Amendment. The following legally described property:
Woodfield Ridge PAD Part One Outlot Two to now include Part Two(Outlot One) Lot Five:
Legal Description:
Part of Woodfield Ridge Part One as recorded in Book 52, Page 117 of the Johnson County records.
Lot Five of Woodfield Ridge Part Two,a replat of Outlot One,Woodfield Ridge Part One now in and
forming a part of the City of Tiffin,Johnson County, Iowa.
Section 3. Penalty Provision. The City may elect,.at its discretion, to prosecute any vio-
lation either as simple misdemeanor or a municipal infraction.
Section 4. Repealer. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions
Of this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 5. Severability. If any section, provision, or part of this ordinance shall be
adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such adjudication shall
not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole, or any section,
provision, or part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional.
Section 6. Effective Date. This ordinance shall be in effect after its final passage,
Approval, and posting as provided by law.
On the 28th day of April, 2010 at the regular meeting of the City of Tiffin, Iowa City Council,
Councilperson Chris Ball introduced Ordinance No. 2010-301 AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING
MAP ORDINANCE 2007-287 OF THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA BY AMENDING THE WOODFIELD
RIDGE PAD PART ONE OUTLOT TWO TO NOW INCLUDE PART TWO LOT FIVE and moved that it
be given its first reading. The motion was seconded by Council Person Travis Weipert.
Ayes:Chris Ball, Mark Petersen, Travis Weipert
Nays: None
Absent: Jim Bartels and Mike Gericke
Three Members of the Council being present and having voted "Aye", Mayor Royce Phillips declared the
motion carried, and Ordinance No. 2010-301 AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP ORDINANCE
2007-287 OF THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA BY AMENDING THE WOODFIELD RIDGE PAD PART ONE
OUTLOT TWO TO NOW INCLUDE PART TWO LOT FIVE, was read the first time, discussed and
placed on record.
On the 12th day of Mav, 2010, at the regular City Council meeting of the Tiffin, Iowa City Council,
Council person Mark Petersen made a motion for the second reading for Ordinance No. 2010=301 BY
AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP ORDINANCE 2007-287 OF THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA
BY AMENDING THE WOODFIELD RIDGE PAD PART ONE OUTLOT TWO TO NOW INCLUDE PART
TWO LOT FIVE. The motion was seconded by Council person Mike Gericke.
Ayes: Chris Ball, Jim Bartels, Mike Gericke, Mark Petersen, and Travis Weipert
Nays:None
Absent: None
Five Members of the Council being present and having voted "Aye", Mayor Royce Phillips declared the
motion carried, and Ordinance No. 2010-301 AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP ORDINANCE
2007-287 OF THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA,BY AMENDING THE WOODFIELD RIDGE PAD PART ONE
OUTLOT TWO TO NOW INCLUDE PART TWO LOT FIVE, was read the second time, discussed and
placed on record.
On the 12th day of May, 2010 at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson
Mike Gericke introduced Ordinance No. 2010-301 AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP
ORDINANCE 2007-287 OF THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA BY AMENDING THE WOODFIELD RIDGE
PAD,PART ONE OUTLOT TWO TO NOW INCLUDE PART TWO LOT FIVE, and moved that it be given
its third and last reading. The motion was seconded by Councilperson Jim Bartels.
Ayes: Chris Ball, Jim Bartels, Mike Gericke, Mark Petersen, and Travis Weipert
Nays: None
Absent: None
Five Members of the Council being present and voted "Aye". Mayor Royce Phillips declared the motion
carried, and the ordinance was passed and adopted.
Whereupon the Mayor declared that Ordinance No. 2010-301 AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING
MAP ORDINANCE 2007-287 OF THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA BY AMENDING THE WOODFIELD
RIDGE PAD PART ONE OUTLOT TWO TO NOW INCLUDE PART TWO LOT FIVE be adopted and
signified his approval of same by fixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 12th day of May,2010.
