A meeting with Town Administrators and Managers is scheduled for Thursday at 3 pm to discuss the process with Boards of Selectmen. If the administrators agree with the transmittal approach outlined in the Alliance's letter, then the draft analysis would be sent out. • There was a meeting about Monitoring and Modeling discussed by the Water Quality Monitoring Work Group. This was based on an earlier discussion with the Watershed Work Group. The initial meeting led to an agreement that a request for scope will be sent to SMAST to determine what additional monitoring is needed to be ready to re-run the model. Some data may need updating, and other data may not require updating, Benthic infauna and sediment flux, for instance, may not require updating, while land and water use may require updating, Carole and Mike Dominica will prepare the outline for the scope request, It was also suggested that the Alliance may submit a DI-TA grant for the Commission to update the land and water use data for the Alliance. 2. Coastal Work Group • The work group made substantial progress on the erosion management guidelines. Carole and Greg will work on the remaining revisions so that a complete revision can be shared with the Work Group for their March Bah meeting, • Mark Borrelli has provided a revised draft of the Sea Level Rise study. He has been working with Lianne Dunn on design of the report. Carole will come back to the Steering Committee with a proposal next meeting. • The committee discussed a symposium to cover both topics and an update on Muddy Creek.
