HomeMy Public PortalAboutOrdinances-2010-307 • • CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA ORDINANCE NO. 2010-307 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP ORDINANCE 2007-287 OF THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA BY AMENDING THE VILLAGES OF TIFFIN PART ONE TO INCLUDE PHASE TWO WHICH WILL BE DEVELOPED AS A•PAD AND RE-PLAT OF LOT FOUR OF PHASE ONE BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIFFIN, IOWA: Section 1. Purpose. The purpose of this amendment to Zoning Ordinance No 2007-287 to amend the official zoning map,of Tiffin, Iowa concerning the following legally described property located within Tiffin, Johnson County, Iowa. Section 2. Amendment. The following legally described property: Villages of Tiffin Phase Two as a Planned Area Development on Lot One Legal Description: Re-Zoning and PAD See Exhibit A Section 3. Penalty Provision. The City may elect, at its discretion, to prosecute any vio- lation either as simple misdemeanor or a municipal infraction. Section 4. Repealer. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions Of this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Section 5. Severability. If any section, provision, or part of this ordinance shall be adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such adjudication shall • not affect the validity of the ordinance as,a whole, or any section, provision, or part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional. Section 6. Effective Date. This ordinance shall be in effect after its final passage, Approval, and posting as provided by law. On the 22 day of December, 2010 at a Special Meeting of the City Council of the City'of Tiffin, Iowa. Councilperson Petersen introduced Ordinance No. 2010-307 AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP ORDINANCE 2007-287 OF THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA BY AMENDING THE VILLAGES OF TIFFIN PART ONE TO INCLUDE PHASE TWO WHICH WILL BE DEVELOPED AS A PAD AND RE-PLAT OF LOT FOUR OF PHASE ONE and moved that it be given its first reading. The motion was seconded by Council Person Weipert. Ayes: Chris Ball, Jim Bartels, Mark Petersen, Travis Weipert Nays: None Absent: Mike Gericke Four Members of the Council being present and having voted "Aye", Mayor Royce Phillips declared the motion carried, and Ordinance No. 2010-307 AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP ORDINANCE 2007-287 OF THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA BY AMENDING THE VILLAGES TIFFIN PART ONE TO INCLUDE PHASE TWO WHICH WILL BE DEVELOPED AS A PAD AND RE-PLAT OF LOT FOUR OF PHASE ONE was read the first time, discussed and placed on record. • On the 12th day of January 2011, at the'regular City Council meeting of the Tiffin, Iowa City Council, Council person Mark Petersen made a motion for the second reading for Ordinance.No. 2010-307 AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP ORDINANCE 2007-287 OF THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA BY AMENDING THE VILLAGES TIFFIN PART ONE TO INCLUDE PHASE TWO WHICH WILL BE • DEVELOPED AS A PAD AND RE-PLAT OF LOT FOUR OF PHASE ONE The motion was seconded by Council person Mike Gericke.
