CITY OF TIFFIN ORDINANCE NO. 2012-311
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY
OF TIFFIN, IOWA, BY AMENDING PROVISIONS PERTAINING TO SPEED
REGULATIONS

BE IT ENACTED by the City Council of the Cify of Tiffin, Iowa:

Section 1. SECTION MODIFIED: The following is added to Section 63.04 of the
Code or Ordinances of the City of Tiffin, Iowa:
2. On.Roberts Ferry Rd, from the intersection of Goldfinch Dr. northerly to the
intersection of Oakdale Blvd. and the northern corporate boundary of the City of Tiffin.
3. Signs. the Public Works Department of the city of Tiffin will post speed limit
signs consistent with the provisions of this Section.
Section 2. SEVERABILITY CLAUSE.If any section, provision or part of this
ordinance shall be adjudged invalid or unconstitutional, such adjudication shall not affect the
validity of the ordinance as a whole or any section, provision or part thereof not adjudged
invalid of unconstitutional.
Section 3.-WHEN EFFECTIVE. This-ordinance shall be in effect after its final
passage, approval, and posting as provided by law.
On the 13th day of June 2012, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City,Council,•Tiffin, Iowa,
Councilperson Weipert introduced Ordinance No. 2012-311, and moved that it be given its
first reading. The motion was seconded by Councilperson Ball.
Ayes: Upton, Bartels,Weipert, Ball
Nays: None
Absent: Ryan
Four members of the Council being present and having voted "Aye", Mayor Steve Berner
declared the motion carried, and Ordinance No. 2012-311, was read the first time, discussed,
and placed on record.
On the`13th•day of June 2012, at a special meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin,°Iowa,
Councilperson Weipert motioned to waive the second and third reading of the Ordinance-
2012-211. The motion was seconded by Councilper'son Ball.
Ayes: Upton, Bartels, Weipert, Ball
Nays: None
Absent: Ryan
Four members of the Council being present and having voted "Aye", Mayor Steve Berner
declared the motion carried, and the ordinance was passed and adopted.

and known as No. 2012 -311 was duly passed by the Council on the 13th day of June 2012, and
signed by the Mayor on the 22"d day of June 2012, and published on the 22nd day of June 2012, by
posting copies thereof in three public places within the limits of the City of Tiffin, Iowa. That I
posted copies of Ordinance No. 2012 - 311 in the following places:
