A ESSOLUTION OF TAS CITY COUNCIL OF TAS CITY OF LYNWOOD
ORDBRING THfi VACATION AND ABANDONMBNT FOR PUBLIC PURPOSES
OF THAT PORTION OF LORRAIN STRBBT BBTWBSN CSNTURY
BOULBVARD AND 108TH STRSST, AS SHOWN ON THS MAP OF TRACT
N0. 5418, IN THB CITY OF LYNWOOD, COUNTY OF LOS ANdfiLSS,
STATS OF CALIFORNIA MAP HOOR 59, PAGE 42 OF MAPS IN TNB
OFFICE OF THS LOS ANGfiLSS COUNTY RECORDBR.
WRSRfiAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood did,
on the 17th day of February, 1987, adopt a Reaolution No. 87-20,
declariag ita intention to vacate that portion of Lorrain Street
between Century Boulevard and 108th Street in the City of Lynwood,
as hereinafter deecribed, and
WHBRfiAS, notices of said vacation were published and
posted in the time, form and manner required by law, and
WHfiRfiAS, a Public Hearing on the matter was held on the
7th day of April, 1987, as prescribed by law,
NOW, THfiRBFORS, HB IT RESOLVBD by the City Council of
the City of Lynwood as follows:
Section_1. That the following described street easement
is unneceasary for present or proapective public use, and that the
public interest, necessity, and convenience require, and the City
Council of said City hereby declares ite order to vacate and
abandon said atreet eaeeuent.
That portion of Lorrain Street, between Century Boulevard (100 feet
wide) and 108th Street (50 feet wide), as ehown on Map of Tract No.
b418, in the City of Lynwood, County of Los Angeles, State of
California, Map Book 59, Page 42 of mapa in the Office of the Los
Angeles County Recorder bounded on the north by a line parallel to
and 20 feet southerly of the easterly prolongation of the northerly
line of lot 28 as shown on said tract, said line being the southerly
right-of-way line of Century Boulevard (100 feet wide) and bounded
on the south by a line parallel to and fi feet northerly of the
easterly prolongation of the aoutherly line of lot 29 of said tract.
Section 2. That a 20 foot wide easement lying 5 feet
westerly and 15 feet easterly of the centerline of said Lorrain
Street bounded on the north by the southeriy right-of-way line of
Century Boulevard (100 feet wide) and bounded aoutherly by the
northerly right-of-way line of lOBth Street {ae ordered by this
vacation), be reserved for the City of Lynwood to end from time to
tiue to construct, maintain operate, replace, re'ove and renew such
underground facilities to include atorm drain pipes,storm drain
baeins, manholea, waterlines, sewerlinea end all asaociated facilitiea.
Section 3. That a 10 foot easement whose centerline is
' the following described line; beginning at the northeast corner of
lot 29 of asid tract, thence easterly along the easterly prolongation
of the northerly line of said lot 29 to a point of intersection with
a line parallel to and 10 feet westerly (measured right angles) of
the westerly line of lot 14 of said tract, thence southerly along
said parallel line to a point of intersection with the northerly
right-of-way line of 108th Street (as ordered by this vacation), be
reserved for the Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company to and from
time to time construct, maintain, operate, replace, remove and renew
such aerial and underground communication facilities (including
ingress thereto and agreas therefrom) consieting of poles, anchors,
guys, cables, wirea, croasarms, conduits, manholes, handholes,
markers, pedestals, terminal equipment cabinets, electrical
conductora and necessary fixtures and appurtenances.

Section 4. That a 10 foot easement whoee centerline ia
the westerly prolongation of the northerly line of lot 29 of said
tract beginning at the northeast corner of said lot 29 and ending at
the northwest corner of said lot 14, be reserved for the Southern
California Bdiaon Company, a corporation organized and exieting
under and by virtue of the laws of the State of California, a
right-of-way to construct, maintain, operate, replace, renew, remove
and repair power facilities consisting oY polea, anchors, guys, _
cablea, wires, crossarns, conduita, nanholes, handholea, markers,
pedestals, tranaformers, terminal equipment cabinets, electrical
conductora and neceaeary fixturea and appurtenances.
Section_5. That a 10 foot easement whose centerline is
the following described line; beginning at the northeast corner of
lot 29 of said tract, thence easterly along the easterly prolongation
of the northerly line of said lot 29 to a point of intersection with
a line parallel to and 10 feet westerly line of said lot 14, thence
southerly along said parallel line to a point of intersection with
the northerly right-of-way line of 108th Street (as ordered by this
vacation) be reaerved for the Rogers Cable Systema Company to
maintain, operate, replace, remove, renew and tepair existing cable
televiaion consisting of poles, anchors, guys, cables, wires,
crossarms, conduite, markers, terminal equipment cabinets and
necessary fixtures and appurtenances.
Section_6. That the City Clerk of the City of Lynwood
shall cause a certified copy of said order to be recorded in the
office of the Recorder of Los Angelea County.
Section 7. This resolution shall take effect
immediately upon its adoption.
