A RSSOLUTION OF THB CITY COUNCIL OF TH$ CITY OF
LYNWOOD APPROVING AN ACQUISITION OF FRBSWAY BXC6S5
PROPSRTY NORTH OF THfi PROPOSSD WS7.L N0. 20 SITS
WHSRBAS, California State Department of Transportation
(Caltrans) has informed the City that there is a ten-foot strip
of freeway excesa property North of the propoaed Well No. 20
site; and
WHSREAS, the price of this excess property,
approximately 10 feet by 137 feet, is 50 dollars; and
WHERBAS, the width of the proposed City's Well No. 20
Site is very narrow; and
WHERHAS, it is advantageous for the City to ecquire
thie exceas property for the purposes of easier maintenance
operation and reducing noise level to the neighboring residences.
NOW, THBRBFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section_1. That the above-mentioned excess property
be acquired for a price of 50 dollars.
Section_2. That the Mayor is authorized to execute
an acquisition agreement with Caltrans.
Section 3. Thia reeolution shall go into effect
immediately upon its adoption.
