A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THS CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZINa THS DIR&CTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS/CITY SNGINSBR
OF SAID CITY TO PRfiPARfi A REPORT ON THB LANDSCAP$
MAINTSNANCS DISTRICT OF SAID CITY AS PROVIDSD FOR UNDBR
THS "LANDSCAPING AND LIdHTING ACT OF 1972" (PART TWO OF
DIVISION 15 OF THS STRSSTS AND HIGHWAYS CODS OF THH STATfi
OF CALIFORNIA) FOR FISCAL YSAR 1967-88
WHSRBAS, the City Council of the City of LynNOOd did,
on August 1, 1976, adopt Reaolution No. 78-78 ordecing the
formetion of a Landacape Maintenance Dietrict; end
WHfiREAS, there will be street improvementa along
Long Beach Soulevard, Atlantic Avenue and Imperiel flighwey, and
no substantial changes in existing improvements planned as
liated in Resolution 78-~3, and adopted by said City Council on
July 1B, 1978; and,
WHSRfiAS, the Director of Public Works/City Sngineer is
required by Section No. 22623 of the Streets and Highways Code to
file an annual report,
NOW, munHSFORS, be it resolved by the City Council of
the City of Lynwood that the Director of Public Works/
City Engineer ia hereby directed to prepare and file a report in
relation to said dietrict, all in accordance with Part 2,
, Division 15, of the Streets and Highways Code of the 5tate of
California, as amended.
This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its
edoption.
