A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCII, OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXBCUTfi A GENERAL
SERVICES CONTRACT WITH THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGfiLES
' WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood maintains an general
services agreement with the County of Los Angeles to provide
various services to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
wishes to continue obtaining from the County of Los Angeles the
services provided under the General Services Agreement; and
WHBREAS, the County of Los Angeles has the ability to
continue providing various services; and
WHEREAS, the present five year General Services
agreement will exp:ire June 30, 1987, and it is necessary
to renew it; and
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Councill of
the City of Lynwood as follows:
Section_1: That the City Council authorize the Mayor
to execute an agreement for general services with the County of
Los Angeles to start July i, 1987 and expire June 30, 1992.
' Section_2: That the County of Los Angeles shall
obtain no compensation from the City for entering into a general
servire agreement and will only charge the City for services
rendered.
Section 3: That this resolution shail become effective
immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this _19th day of
