RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CLTY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING THF. DIRECTOR
OF PL'BLIC WORKS/CITY ENGINEER'S REPORT AND
AUTHORIZING LEVY OF ASSESSMENT COVERING THE
' EXPENSE OF ABATING DRY AND DRYING WEEDS FOR
1'HF. ]986-89 FTSCAL YEAR.
WHF,RF.AS, the Director of Public Works/City Engineer has
heret.ofore filed with the City Council. a report setting forth the
artual cost of the abatement of dry and dying weeds that existed
on certain parcels of land in the Citv of Lynwood for the
1986-R7 fiscal. ,year.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVF,D by the City Council of
the Cit.y of Lynwood, as follows:
SECTION 1_. That said report, together with the
assessment, roll showing the vari.ous parcels of land assessed for
abat.ing said nuisance, is hereby adopted and approved unmodified.
SECTTON 2. That. the levying of the assessmenY, is hereby
authorized and approved.
SF.CTION 3. That the City Clerk is hereby directed T,o
transmit, ta the County of I.os Angeles Tax Collector the
assessment roll for assessment and collection.
' SF.CTION 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately
upon its adoption,
