WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood desires to undertake a
certain project designated to Lynwood Corrmunity Crime
' Resistance Program to be funded in part from funds made
available through State General Funds as authorized by
Chapter 1291 of the 1982 Statutes for the California Corrmunity
Crime Resistance Program, administered by the Office of
Criminal Justice Planning (hereafter referred to as OCJP); and
A RESOLUTION OF TF~ CITY COUNCIL OF THE
C I 1'Y OF LYM~OOD AUTF K)R I Z I NG APPL I CAT I ON FOR
C~ 1N I 1'Y CR I ME RES I STANCE PROGRAM FUND I NG
NC1VU, TI-IEREFORE , BE I T RESOLVED THAT THE C i t y Ma n a g e r
of the City of Lynwood is authorized, on its behalf to submit
the attached Application for Grant for law enforcement purposes
to OCJP and is authorized to execute on behalf of the City of
Lynwood the attached Grant Award for law enforcement purposes
including any extensions or amendments thereof.

BE IT FU[tTI-IER RESOLVED that the appl icant agrees to
provide all matching funds required for said project (including
any extension or amendment thereof) under the Conmunity Crime
Resistance Program and the rules and regulations of OCJP and
that cash will be appropriated as required thereby.
BE IT FURTI-~R RESOLVED that grant funds received
hereunder shall not be used to supplant law enforcement
expenditures controlled by this body.
