A RESOLUTION OF THB CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD ACCBPTING THfi STRfiST IMPROVSMSNT PROJfiCT

WHSRSAS, on January 20, 1987, the City Council authorized
staff to advertise for bids for the Street Improvement Project; and
WHERSAS, a bid opening was held on February 26, 1987 and
Sully-Miller Contracting co. was the low bidder; and
WHBRSAS, the construction was started on April 7, 1987
end completed on May 22, 1987; and
WHERfiAS, staff inspected the project and found that it was
complete in accordance with plans and specifications, and
WHERBAS, with a chenge order of $4,685.94 the final
construction cosL is 62,154.28.
WHERfiAS, the total coet including construction
adminietration is $78,344.28 which has exceeded the budget by
$7,285; and
WH$RfiAS, a budget amendment is required and the City
Council has studied its implication.
NOW, THfiRfiFORfi, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
doee hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as followe:
Section_1_ That the City of Lynwood accepts the Alley
Improvement Project as being complete in accordance with contract
documents.
Section_2: That the City Manager or hie deaignee is
authorized to make the following amendments and transfer:

Section 3_ This resolution ahall go into effect
