“Run for the Unborn” 5K Run/Walk on September 7, 2015, Will
Close Intersections Along North King Street Temporarily
Leesburg, VA (September 3, 2015) – The “Run for the Unborn” 5K Run/Walk will be held on
Monday, September 7, 2015, beginning and ending at St. John the Apostle Roman Catholic
Church (101 Oakcrest Manor Drive NE). The run is a fundraising event to benefit the Tepeyac
Family Center in Fairfax, Virginia.
The runners will leave the church at approximately 8:45am. The race route extends north on
the path along North King Street to Dry Hollow. Runners will turn around at Smart’s Mill Middle
School and head back to the church along King Street.
During the run, the following intersections will be closed to vehicular traffic:
North King Street at Oakcrest Manor Drive
North King Stfreet at Bridgette Place
North King Street at Battlefield Parkway
Dry Hollow Rd will also be closed during the run. Intersections will reopen after the last runner
has cleared.
