A SPECIAL ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP AT 3401 EAST MAIN RICHMOND, INDIANA
WHEREAS, the Zoning Map designates and describes the property at 3401 East Main Street R-2 One Family Residence District; and
WHEREAS, it is desirable to change the zoning designation to the Planned Unit Development Overlay District to allow development of a PUD with twenty-one (21) Single family homes and
twenty-one (21) four family buildings located on 20.977 acres,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana as
follows:
(1) the zoning designation of the property commonly known as 3401 East Main Street, Richmond, Indiana, and more particularly described below is hereby changed to a Planned Unit Development
Overlay District to allow development of a PUD with twenty-one (21) Single Family homes and twenty-one (21) four family buildings located on 20.977 acres.
(2) the concept plan, attached hereto as Exhibit A, is hereby incorporated by reference and made a part of this ordinance.
(3) the legal description of the subject property is
Situated in Section 3, Town 13 North, Range 1 West, City of Richmond, Wayne County, Indiana, being part of a 38.203 acre tract conveyed to Lebanon Elder Services in instrument number
2000000049, said boundary being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at an existing iron pin in the east line of Lot 152 of Ravina Park, Second Addition as recorded in P.B. 6 Page 152, said point also being in the north line of Section 3; thence
along the north line of said Section 3, S89º35’43”E, a distance of 544.09 feet; thence S00º24’17”W, a distance of 185.00 feet; thence S89º35’43”E, a distance or 46.85 feet; thence S00º24’17”W,
a distance of 135.00 feet; thence S89º35’43”E, a distance of 247.42 feet; thence S00º40’57”W, a distance of 886.12 feet; thence N89º11’53”W, a distance of 825.04 feet; thence N00º00’35”W,
a distance of 1200.42 feet to the point of beginning containing 20.977 acres of land.
Passed and adopted this 4th day of June, 2001, by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana.
