A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COiJNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD AU'fHORII,ING THF. RF,F'URBISHMENT OF
THE CITY HALL ANNEX AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM
AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS

WHEREAS, the City Council desires to continue maintaining
City facilities in a proper and efficient manner; and
WHEREAS, the above mentioned project is not listed in the
Capital Improvement Project list for the FY 1988-89 Budget; and
WHEREAS, funds need to be appropriated for this project; and
WHEREAS, the project can be more expeditiously effected if
done through an informal bid process; and
WHEREAS, under Section 2-62(c) of the Lynwood Municipal
Code, Counci] can authorize implementation of projects through
informal bids by a 4/5 vote.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of t:he
City of Lynwood as follows:
Section_1_ The City Council hereby finds and determines
that the refurbishment of the City Hall Annex Building air condition-
ing system can be more expeditiously effected by an informal bid
procedure, in ghat a faster start dai,e of the work can be accomplished
than that of a formal bid.
Section_2_ That the City Manager or his designee is
authorized to make the following additional appropriation:
