A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD ACCEPTING CONSTRUCTION
THE WATER WELL NO. 20 PROJECT NO. 5-5004
(FY 1987-88)
WHEREAS, on December 2, 1986, the City Council awarded
a contract to Beylik Drilling, Inc., based on its bid of
$291,659, and
WHEREAS, on March 17, 1988, the City Council authorized
a change order in the amount of $132,112; and
WHEREAS, additional changes increased the cost by
$26,772.64; and
WHEREAS, the final construction cost is $453,863.64.
WHEREAS, staff inspected the project and found that it
was complete in accordance with plans and specifications; and
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City of Lynwood accept the
Water Well No. 20 Project as being completed in accordance with
contract documents.
Section 2. This resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 2nd day of
August 1988.
