A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD ACCEPTING THE CITY ENTRY
MARKER PROJECT OF (FY 1987-88)
WHEREAS, on October 22, 1987, staff began advertisement
for bids for the City Entry Marker Project; and
WHEREAS, a bid opening was held on November 19, 1987, and
the lowest bid was for $109,856.25; and
WHEREAS, on January 5, 1988, Council rejected all bids;
and
WHEREAS, the construction was started on February 4, 1988,
and completed on June 7, 1988.
WHEREAS, staff inspected the project and found that it
was complete in accordance with plans and specifications; and
WHEREAS, the final construction cost is $60,454.25.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City of Lynwood accept the
City Entry Marker Project as being completed in accordance with
contract documents.
Section 2. This resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 2nd day of
August 1988.
