The Special Meeting of the Mayor and Council of the Borough of
Carteret was held on Wednesday, January 24, 1996, 7:00 P.M.,
Counci1 Offices, Municipal Building, 61 Cooke Avenue, Carteret,
New Jersey.
Upon individual roll call, the following were noted present:
Counci1member Deborah Bialowarczuk
" " James Failace
" " Jack Fazekas
" " William Feingold
" " James O'Brien
Noted absent were Mayor Peter J. Sica and Councilman Sam
Semenza.
Also noted present was Borough Attorney Robert A. Hedesh.
Also noted present was John W. Spoganetz, Esq. and Frank Addas,
Esq.
The Clerk stated that on January 19, 1996, in compliance with the
Open Public Meetings Act, a notice of tonight's meeting was sent to
The Home News & Tribune, The Star Ledger and posted on the
bulletin board.
The Clerk stated that the purpose of the meeting was to discuss
pending litigation.
RESOLUTION #96-28 was introduced and referred to the Council
for action.
Upon MMS&C, by Councilmembers Bialowarczuk and Failace
RESOLUTION #96-28
"RESOLUTION TO GO 1NTO CLOSED SESSION"
was adopted Upon individual roll call vote, Councilmembers
Bialowarczuk, Failace, Fazekas, Feingold and O'Brien voted in the
affirmative. Councilmember Semenza was noted absent.

At approximately 7:01 P.M., the meeting adjourned to closed session.

Feingold and Failace and unanimous affirmative vote of the five (5)
members present, the meeting was opened to the public.
ADJOURNED
There being no further business or discussion, the meeting was
adjourned at approximately 8:35 P.M., upon MMS&C by
Councilmembers Feingold and Faihce and unanimous affirmative vote
of the five (5) members present.
