RESOLUTION OF TES CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF LYNWOOD REVISING GARBAGE

WHEREAS, Western Waste Industries is the City's exclusive hauler for
residential, commercial and industrial properties in the City; and
AND TRASH COLLECTION RATES
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 16 of the Contract between the City and
Western Waste Industries, the City is to review and consider appropriate
adjustments to the rates set forth in the contract; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that. the public health,
safety and welfare will be enhanced by revising rates for garbage and trash
collection.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council as follows:
SECTION ]. The trash collection rates are modified as follows:
A. Ten percent franchise fee for all services.
B. Eight percent City's administrative fee for
residential, commercial and industrial services.
C. City will be responsible for the residential
commercial and industrial billings.
D. Rates for Residential Premises shall be $8.89 per month
per single unit dwelling and $7.77 per month per
unit for multiple dwellings for services pursuant
to the General Specifications, No. 1978-B.
E. Rates for Commercial and Industrial Premises shall be as follows:

$1.00 for each additional can; $2.00 for each additional day.
F. Roll-off rate shall be $141.29 a pull per load plus dump
cost, load not to exceed seven and one half tons.
SECTION 2. The provisions of this resolution are severable, and if
any portion of this resolution shall be declared invalid or unenforceable, such
invalidity shall not effect any of the remaining portions of this
resolution.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately except that
all fee increases shall become effective August 1, 1988.
