A RESOLUTION OF. THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY APPROVING
AND ORDERING ANNEXATION 83 -2 TO THE
CITY OF TEMPLE CITY, PURSUANT TO THE
MUNICIPAL ORGANIZATION ACT OF 1977
SECTION 1. WHEREAS, Annexation 83 -2, the territory for which
is set forth on Exhibit A, attached hereto, has been initiated, and
approved by the Local Agency Formation Commission on February 22,
1984.
SECTION 2. NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to the provisions of
Section 35151 of the Municipal Organization Act of 1977: 1) notice
and hearing are waived; 2) said annexation is approved and ordered;
and 3) on certification of this Resolution said territory shall be
a part of the City of Temple City.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall mail certified copies of this
Resolution in the manner as provided by law.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution.

DESCRIPTION OF PROPOSED
"ANNEXATION NO. 83 -2" TO THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY
(Revised Description)
That parcel of land in the County of Los Angeles, State of
California being a portion of Santa Anita Avenue and Lots 2 and 3
in Block B of Tract No. 11248, as shown on map filed in Book 200,
page 21 of Maps, in the office of the Recorder of said County,
described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the center line of Double
Drive (now known as Santa Anita Avenue) as said center line is
shown on map of Tract No. 11248 filed in Book 200, page 21 of
Maps, in the office of the Recorder of Los Angeles County, and
the westerly prolongation of the northerly line of Lot 2 in Block
B of said tract, said intersection being a point in the boundary
of the City of Temple City as same existed on November 1, 1983;
thence easterly along said prolongation and northerly line a
distance of 374.51 feet to the northeasterly corner of said Lot
2; thence southerly along the easterly line of Lots 2 and 3 a
distance of 183 feet to the southeasterly corner of said Lot 3;
thence westerly along the southerly line of said Lot 3 and its
westerly prolongation a distance of 374.96 feet to said center
line; thence northerly along said boundary of the City of Temple
City to the point of beginning.
Containing: 1.57 acres
