A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY CF
LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING THE CONSTRUCTION OF'
IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, the widening of Long Beach Boulevard between
theaareavandewill achieveeaAuniform1widghPforythepstree,t;raande in
WHEREAS, the southeast corner of Long Beach Boulevard and
Tenaya Avenue is being widened and improved by t;he developer
constructing the shopping center at 10400 Long Beach Boulevard; and
WHEREAS, the project, can be more
done through an informal bid process; and
WHEREAS, under Section 2-62 (c)

NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of t;he City of Lynwood
does hereby find, proclaim and resolve as fo]lows:
Section 1. That the construction of improvements along
10450 Long Beach Boulevard can be more expeditiously and economically
constructed by an informal bid process in that better prices for the
proposed work would be obtained than that of a formal bid.
Section 2. This resolution shall go into effect
immediately upon its adoption.
