A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF'
LYNWOOD AWARDING A CONTRACT TO SILVERI & LE HOUEF
J.V. IN THE AMOUNT OF $947,488.00 FOR THE LONG
BEACH BOULEVARD IMPROVEMENT PROJECT - PHASE I

WHEREAS, the Long Beach Boulevard Lnprovement„ Project -
Phase I is scheduled for construction during fiscal year 1988-89,
funded by LRA Bond fund; and
WHEREAS, the bid opening was held on September 26, 1988,
and Silveri & Le Bouef J.V. was the low bidder with a bid of
$947,488.00; and
WHEREAS, a reference check has revealed. that. the
contractor has the ncessary experience for this type of project; and
WHEREAS, a Youth Hiring and Training Program will be
implemented as part of this project..
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the contract for the Long B~4ach Boulevard
Improvement, Project - Phase I be awarded to Silveri. & Le Bouef J.V..
Section 2. This resolution shall go into effect.
immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 7th day of
October 1988.
