A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF FURNITURE FOR V.I.P. ROOM
THROUGH INFORMAL PURCHASE PROCEDURE.
WHEREAS, the City Council has approved funds for remodeling
of V.I.P. Room; and
WHEREAS, staff has investigated sources for supply of furniture,
and
WHEREAS, the amount for furniture exceeds the maximum for
purchase by informal process; and
WHEREAS, it would be more expedient to pursue this project
through informal purchase procedure.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that City Council of the City
of Lynwood authorize staff to acquire furniture for the V.I.P. Room
through the informal purchase procedure by a 4/5 vote.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 1st day of November
1988.
