A RESOLUTION OF THfi CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD ACCEPTING THE AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM -
CITY HALL ANNEX PROJECT
APPROVED AS TO FORM:
WHERBAS, on August 2, 1988, the City Council authorized
staff to obtain informal bids for installing two new five (5) ton
air conditioning units in the City Hall Annex Building and
appropriated $32,000 for this work; and
WHERBAS, through an informal bid process a purchase order
contract for $17,324.00 was awarded to State Sheet Metal Heating and
Air Conditioning; and
WHEREAS, additional charges increased the cost by $356.36; and
WHEREAS, the final construction cost is $17,680.36; and
WHEREAS, staff inspected the project and found that it was
complete in accordance with specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Council accept the Air
Conditioning System - City Hall Annex Project as being completed in
accordance with contract documents.
Section 2. This resolution shall go into effect
immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 15th day of
November , 1988.
