EXTRAORDINARY UNSPECIFIED CONTRACT
FOR AIR TESTING
WHEREAS, there exists a need for services to conduct an indoor air quality
investigation of the 1st floor at the Carteret Borough Hall; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-5 et seq. extraordinary unspecified
services are exempt from the requirements of competitive bidding; and
WHEREAS, the Local Finance Officer has certified that funds are available.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret does hereby approve the appointment of Tiffany-Bader
Environmental, Inc. at a maximum cost not to exceed $3(~6 0.00 billable as per
attached proposal.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and Municipal Clerk are hereby
authorized to execute said contract.
BE 1T FURTHER RESOLVED that this contract is awarded without competitive
bids in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A:11-5 et seq.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a notice of this action shall be published in the
Home News Tribune on March 21, 2000.
