A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TANTOSELSCTIONIFORTTHEPLONGRBEACHPBOULEVARDNSUL-
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TC
EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT

WHEREAS, a Request for Proposal was sent out to CalTrana
certified appraisal consultants and advertised in the Los Angeles
Times and Lynwood Press; and
WHEREAS, eleven proposals were received from property
appraisers; and
WHEREAS, the proposals were reviewed and the consultants
ranked in the following order based on their experience, reputation
and price:

1. Lea Associates $ 76,750
2, W.J. Carlson Associates $ 45,000
3. Ackermann 8c Tinker $135,000
4. Mason &. Mason $139,500
5.
6. Lee A. Hill Jr.
John J. Bihary Jr. & Associates $150,000

7. Donahue & Company $198,000
8. BIG $ 30,000
9. Huguet & Associates $ 36,000
10. ESS - Jay Company $270,000
11. L.F. Sherman & Associates
WHEREAS, Lea Associates has agreed to use local
businesses to participate in the project and will train local
youth in the different aspects of the project.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. The City Council approve the selection of Lea
Associates to provide property appraising services for the Long
Beach Boulevard Improvement Project.
Section 2. That the Mayor be rovalrized to execute a
consultant agreement after CalTrans' app
Section 3. This resolution shall go into effect
immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 21st day of
