HomeMy Public PortalAboutResolution 84-2250RESOLUTION NO. 84 -2250 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY ORDERING THE CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN IMPROVEMENTS PURSUANT TO SECTION 5870 ET SEQ. OF THE STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Temple City does hereby find, determine and declare as follows: (a) That pursuant to Section 5870 et seq. of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, the City Council has ordered the owners of lots in the blocks designated as follows: The east and west sides of Camellia Avenue between Sparklett Street and Lower Azusa Road (b) That the City Council has initiated proceedings to cause the construction of said improvements,,within those areas, above described, where the same have not been con- structed, and; (c) That one protest;, was filed at the time set for hearing on said matter, and; (d) That the public interest, convenience and necessity require the construction of said improvements. SECTION 2. That the Superintendent of Streets is hereby ordered to construct said improvements above described, in accordance with the City's standard plans and specifications therefore, in the areas above described, in which said improvements have not been constructed within the time permitted by law. If said improvements are constructed by the Superintendent of Streets, he shall prepare a Report of Cost there- fore, as prescribed by law. SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution and shall forward a copy hereof to the said Superin- tendent. PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 20th day of March 1984.
